NSE Partners with Tourism Ministry on Development

In line with its commitment to developing key sectors of the nation's economy, The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has partnered the Federal Ministry of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation to drive development in Nigeria’s culture and tourism sector.

Speaking during the inauguration of the Board and Planning Committee of the Presidential Summit on Tourism held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Exchange, The CEO of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, Mr. Oscar Onyema said that he optimistic the summit would "set the tone for a higher level of interest and investment in the sector than ever witnessed before now" The NSE boss appealed to other private sector bodies to consider partnering with the government in various areas of our national economy, as government alone cannot develop the economy. Similarly, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and National Orientation Chief Edem Duke, said that the partnership will raise the level of interest and investment in the sector.​
