​​​NSE Hosts Diaspora Investor Forum

IMG_2728.jpgLagos, January 22, 2015In line with its commitment to improving financial literacy and enhancing investors' participation in the Nigerian capital market, The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), in collaboration with the Embassy of Nigeria, Switzerland, Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) and Capital Bancorp Plc  organized Investor Forum in Zurich, Switzerland targeted at Diaspora Nigerians in Switzerland and across Europe on Monday, January 19, 2015.

The  forum which was moderated by Mr. Bola Adeeko, Head Corporate Services Division, The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), had  Mr. Oscar N. Onyema, OON, Chief Executive Officer, The NSE; Amb. Ummuna Orjiako, Ambassador/Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva; Amb. Laurence Ayodele, Nigeria Ambassador to Greece and Mr. Aigboje Higo, Managing Director, Capital Bancorp Plc as speakers.

Economic Outlook for Nigeria in 2015, investment opportunities in Nigeria's capital market, investor protection efforts by The NSE, capital market cycles and asset balancing through diversification were some of the topics  discussed at the forum.​
